The estate's longest-aged metodo classico Gavi DOCG, named for Marina Galli and matured a minimum of 48 months on the lees; average production is about 2,000 bottles a year.
Tasting notes
Golden yellow with a fine, persistent perlage and excellent foam retention; dry, persistent and balanced on the palate, with evolved notes of aromatic herbs, dried fruit and spice on the nose.
Pairs well with
Good with spaghetti and lobster, grilled fish, shellfish and molluscs, and excellent with cheese.
