Tasting notes
This Barolo from Bricco Manescotto displays a deep garnet hue, with a captivating bouquet of dark cherry, plum, and earthy notes. The palate is powerful and concentrated, with firm tannins, excellent acidity, and a very long, complex finish.

- Vinification
- 5-7 days maceration in temperature-controlled rotary fermenters at 25-30 C. After drawing off, decanted into stainless steel tanks for the precipitation of deposits, remaining there until the end of sugar and malolactic fermentations. Aged in small French oak barrels, 35% new and 65% used, for 24 months. Then blended in steel tanks for 6 months, bottled and left to mature for about a year before release.

- Wines are not filtered or clarified, but naturally decanted. Sulfite levels are generally less than 50% of Italian legal limits.
