Barolo DOCG from the Mosconi hamlet of Monforte d'Alba, grown on marl and white tuff soils and aged a minimum of 18 months in small oak barrels.

Tasting notes

Deep garnet red. Sage, rosemary and earthy hints on the nose. Rich texture with round, soft tannins.

Pairs well with

Red meat roasts, truffle dishes, all game and ripe cheese.

Vinification
After a soft pressing the grapes undergo a long maceration; alcoholic fermentation starts spontaneously with indigenous yeasts without using sulfites. Aged a minimum of 18 months in small oak barrels in contact with indigenous yeasts, then in bottle at controlled temperature of 15°C.
