Barolo DOCG from the Mariondino hamlet of Castiglione Falletto, grown on marl and clayey-sandy soils.

Tasting notes

Ruby red, nearly garnet. Elegant nose with delicate tones of spices and red fruit. Well balanced and delicate on the palate.

Pairs well with

Red meat roasts, truffle dishes, all game and ripe cheese.

Vinification
After a soft pressing the grapes undergo a long maceration; alcoholic fermentation starts spontaneously with indigenous yeasts without using sulfites. Aged a minimum of 18 months in small oak barrels in contact with indigenous yeasts, then in bottle at controlled temperature of 15°C.
