Barolo DOCG from the Bussia locality of Monforte d'Alba, blending the Rocche and Munie vineyards and aged a minimum of 18 months in small oak barrels.

Tasting notes

Deep ruby garnet red. Rich nose of red fruit, rose petals and earth, with hints of spice and mint. Palate wrapped in fine-grained, sweet, silky tannins.

Pairs well with

Red meat roasts, all game, truffle dishes and ripe cheese.

Vinification
After a soft pressing the grapes undergo a long maceration; alcoholic fermentation starts spontaneously with indigenous yeasts without using sulfites. Aged a minimum of 18 months in small oak barrels in contact with indigenous yeasts, then about 6 months in bottle at controlled temperature of 15°C.
