Red
Vigna Serraboella
By F.lli Cigliuti, Barbaresco, Piemonte, Italy
A Barbera d'Alba from the Serraboella vineyard, aged in a mix of Slavonian oak barrels and tonneaux. First made in 1967, the estate's oldest wine after the Barbaresco Serraboella.
Tasting notes
A deep ruby red, this Barbera d'Alba offers an expressive nose of dark fruit, licorice, and a touch of vanilla from oak. The palate is robust and well-structured, with integrated tannins and a long, savory finish. [Profiles: bold, fruity, structured, spicy, tannic, complex]
Pairs well with
Roasts and grilled white and red meats, pasta with meat sauces, risottos and soups, medium-aged cheeses, cured meats.
