Red
San Matteo
By Eraldo Revelli, Dogliani, Piemonte, Italy
The estate's top cru bottling, a low-yield Dogliani Superiore DOCG aged in steel and barrel.
Tasting notes
The estate calls this its benchmark cru wine, shaped by its particular soil, exposure, microclimate and low yield per vine. Deep ruby with impenetrable violet hues, aromas of considerable personality, austere yet refined; soft, rich and harmonious on the palate with long persistence.
