White
Piemonte Sauvignon
By Emanuele Gambino, Asti, Piemonte, Italy
A 100% Sauvignon from Costigliole d'Asti, fermented and aged in stainless steel.
Tasting notes
Straw yellow. Intense, complex nose of white flowers, pear, pink grapefruit, papaya and passion fruit, and the tomato-leaf note typical of the variety. Pronounced sapidity on the palate, balanced acidity and fruit, persistent finish.
Pairs well with
Oily fish dishes such as stuffed anchovies, baked sardines, or pasta with zucchini flowers and anchovies.
