White
Mo' Frem
By Emanuele Gambino, Asti, Piemonte, Italy
A dry Moscato from Santo Stefano Belbo, finished in terracotta amphorae and aged at least 8 months in bottle.
Tasting notes
Brilliant straw yellow. Intense, aromatic and complex nose with papaya, ripe apricot and sage at the centre, plus white flowers, thyme and nettle. Fresh and savory on the palate, balancing aromaticity and dryness.
Pairs well with
Delicate yet characterful appetizers and first courses: saffron risotto, a light fry of oily fish, or good bread with butter and anchovies.
