White
Auritage
By Emanuele Gambino, Asti, Piemonte, Italy
A barrique-fermented Chardonnay from Costigliole d'Asti with ten months on the lees in wood.
Tasting notes
Intense straw yellow with golden reflections. Refined, complex nose with tertiary aromas from barrique and a sweet toastiness, plus pollen, yellow flowers and herbal hints. Warm, supple and savory on the palate with remarkable structure and a very persistent finish.
Pairs well with
Refined, flavorful dishes such as mille-feuille with creamed cod and polenta, or a crusted bluefin tuna fillet.
