Red
Nō
By Elio Perrone, Asti, Piemonte, Italy
Nō is a dry red wine made from partly dried Barbera grapes grown in Costigliole d'Asti and Isola d'Asti, aged 24 months in new French oak.
Tasting notes
Dry, but keeping the enveloping notes of chocolate, blackberry jam, ripe cherry and tobacco typical of the drying process; rich and smooth, with the natural acidity of Barbera preserving drinkability and freshness.
Pairs well with
Marbled cheeses, stuffed game, venison, chocolate and dry cocoa-based desserts such as Black Forest cake; also good on its own or with a cigar.
