Rosé
Bigarò
By Elio Perrone, Asti, Piemonte, Italy
Bigarò is a partially fermented rosé must blending Brachetto and Muscat from the hills of Agliano d'Asti and Nizza Monferrato.
Tasting notes
Cherry color with purplish tinges. Ample, inviting bouquet of wild strawberry, raspberry and rose. Sweet but well supported by acidity, making it fragrant and balanced.
Pairs well with
Spoon desserts, cakes, dry biscuits, red-berry tarts and sorbets; also good on its own, away from meals.
