White
Gi
By Elio Perrone, Asti, Piemonte, Italy
Gi is an unclassified white blend of Chardonnay, Moscato Bianco and Viognier from Castiglione Tinella and Isola d'Asti.
Tasting notes
Vivid, aromatic and exuberant when first released, developing real complexity over time: white fruit, citrus, sage and flint at first, moving toward mineral, honeyed and balsamic-herb notes with age. The structure is enveloping, carried by a line of acidity that gives brightness to the sip.
Pairs well with
Raw fish, pork, culatello, fresh cheeses and paella.
