Red
Serracapelli
By Cecilia Monte, Barbaresco, Piemonte, Italy
A single-cru Barbaresco from the Serracapelli amphitheatre facing the Torre di Barbaresco, harvested in the first week of October and aged for 12 months in French oak after fermentation in steel.
Tasting notes
The Barbaresco Serracapelli presents a garnet red color with orange reflections, revealing a complex nose of dried roses, tar, and red berries. The palate is powerful and structured, with firm tannins, a savory minerality, and a remarkably long, evolving finish.
