Castello di Verduno Bricco del Cuculo

Single-vineyard Barbera from a hilltop site on the Faset hill, named for the cuckoos that nest around it.

Tasting notes

Very dark ruby red. Intense nose of spices, red fruit, leather and flowers with mineral and liquorice hints. Excellent structure with rich freshness; it improves with ageing, especially in magnum.
