Cantina di Tortona Burc

Burc is Cantina di Tortona's Barbera Riserva, grown on the Serravallian clays and Sant'Agata Fossili marls of the Colli Tortonesi, soils the cooperative calls Barbera's finest expression in the area.

Tasting notes

Deep ruby colour. Cherry on the nose gives way to blackberry and raspberry, rounded off by a base of undergrowth. Round on the palate with silky tannins, strongly savoury with a touch of acidity.

Pairs well with

Suits Piedmontese roasted meats and risottos.
