Campo del Gatto
By Costa di Bussia, Barolo, Piemonte, Italy
Barbera from the historic Campo del Gatto vineyard, planted in 1969 and facing due south, aged 18 months in French oak tonneaux.
Tasting notes
Compact ruby red; complex, intense nose of morello cherries and blueberry jam, with spice from the long ageing in tonneaux. Velvety, with a spicy finish.
Pairs well with
Roast meats, grilled meats, aged cheeses.
