Fiorenzo Nada
Azienda Agricola Nada Fiorenzo is a family farm in Treiso, in the Langa hills where Barbaresco is made. The Nadas bought the Rombone farm in 1921 and sold their grapes for decades. In 1982 Bruno Nada persuaded his father Fiorenzo to build a cellar and bottle their own wine; his son Danilo is the fourth generation. The vineyards sit around the cellar and in nearby plots, with Rombone and Manzola in Treiso and Montaribaldi in Barbaresco. The family feeds the soil naturally, sows cover crops, uses no herbicides, harvests by hand and vinifies each parcel separately. The range is three single-vineyard Barbarescos, the Barbera and Nebbiolo blend Seifile, Langhe Nebbiolo, Barbera d'Alba and Dolcetto d'Alba, aged in wood and then in bottle.
