Agostino Bosco
Bosco Agostino is a family farm in La Morra, founded by Pietro Bosco (1904 to 1983). Until the late 1970s the family only grew grapes; in 1979 they began making their own wine, joined by Pietro's son Agostino. His son Andrea, a graduate of the Alba oenology school, now works alongside him. The estate farms about 4 hectares of nebbiolo, barbera and dolcetto, all owned. The cellar was extended in 2006 to 150 m2 of underground ageing space plus a bottling hall, tasting room and office. The range is five wines: two Barolo crus, La Serra in La Morra and Neirane in neighbouring Verduno, plus Langhe Nebbiolo Rurem, Barbera d'Alba Volupta and Dolcetto d'Alba Vantrin. La Morra is one of the eleven communes of the Barolo DOCG zone.
