Red
Ausario
By Molino, Barbaresco, Piemonte, Italy
A Barbaresco DOCG from the Ausario hill in Treiso, from Nebbiolo Lampia vines planted in 1970.
Tasting notes
Ruby red with very intense garnet reflections. Fine, elegant and complex nose of ripe red fruit recalling blueberry and redcurrant. Enveloping tannins give a soft, warm palate with a delicate balance.
Pairs well with
Red meat and game, even young. After about five years, a wine for the end of a meal or for contemplation.
