Red
Sarsè
By Mandirola, Colli Tortonesi, Piemonte, Italy
A wine made from grapes of old vineyards in the Municipality of Casasco, named after the local willows traditionally used in cultivating the vines. A surprisingly complex, full bodied, structured and persistent Barbera.
Tasting notes
Intense ruby red colour with violet reflections. Vinous and persistent bouquet with traces of red berries and black cherries, developing a complex and pleasant bouquet with traces of almond when fully mature. Intense, persistent, harmonic and well balanced palate with soft notes of cherry jam.
Pairs well with
Red meats, stews, braised dishes and Piedmontese boiled meats.
