Made from Nebbiolo grapes grown on the steep hills of Gattinara, where mineral-rich soils and long ageing in oak give the wine its complexity and austerity.
Tasting notes
Colour: intense ruby red, tending to garnet. Taste: full, warm, velvety, persistent and complex. Bouquet: noble, wide and elegant, with exuberant notes of violet, ripe fruit, spices and leather.
