White
Eresia
By I Dof Mati, Alto Piemonte, Piemonte, Italy
Eresia is I Dof Mati's 100% Erbaluce, a native grape the producer calls the reddest of whites for its full-bodied, floral, fruity style. Its name and the bishop chess piece on the label nod to Fara Novarese, founded by bishops in the 10th century.
Tasting notes
Bright straw yellow. The native grape behind Eresia is considered the most "red" of white varieties, with a full-bodied, floral and fruity character, notes of aromatic herbs and a pronounced mineral note.
Pairs well with
Excellent as an aperitif, and with fish dishes or cheese.
