A Monferrato DOC Freisa, an old Piemontese grape now rare in the Monferrato, ruby red with raspberry and spice notes and good ageing potential.
Tasting notes
Intense ruby red color with purple highlights, with notes of raspberry and red fruit and a delicate spicy note. Excellent structure with a pleasant tannic texture that makes it suited to ageing.
Pairs well with
Particularly enjoyable with cold cuts platters, pasta with ragu and roasts.
