Albarossa, a cross of Nebbiolo di Dronero and Barbera bred in 1938 by Prof. Dalmasso and trialled at Tenuta Cannona, is a deep ruby red with red fruit and spice notes, powerful structure and slow, long ageing potential.
Tasting notes
Deep ruby red color with an intense scent of red fruits, spice and a characteristic vegetal note. Powerful structure marked by pleasant freshness, the right tannic vein, great softness and excellent persistence. Ages slowly, keeping exceptional expressiveness for several years.
