- Fine sand and limestone, joining the Tortonian and Helvetian sides of the Barolo area

- South, south-west and south-east, 260 to 300 m
- Vinification
- Maceration with the cap emerged for about 30 to 40 days in wooden vats with frequent pump-overs, spontaneous malolactic fermentation in steel. Aged in 25 to 50 hl Slavonian oak casks, about 52 months for the Riserva depending on the vintage, then bottled in summer with about six months lying in bottle.
