By Cascina Penna-Currado, Langhe, Piemonte, Italy
A high-altitude, old-vine Barbera from Monforte d'Alba that pairs ripe dark fruit with freshness and fine tannins.
Tasting notes
Deep ruby. Dark cherry, forest floor and pronounced balsamic notes. Full and deep on the palate, with ripe dark fruit held together by fine-grained tannins and a compact, structured finish without heaviness.
