Red
Bricco Lago
By Cascina Penna-Currado, Langhe, Piemonte, Italy
The estate's first release: a fragrant, approachable Nebbiolo from the cool hamlet of San Sebastiano in Monforte d'Alba.
Tasting notes
Deep garnet. Raspberry, cherry and wild strawberry, with airy rose and violet notes on the finish. Polished on the palate with crisp red fruit and a citrus twist, finishing harmonious and enveloping with soft tannins.
Pairs well with
Roasts, lamb, grilled meats, game birds, ragù and slow-cooked stews, risotto, medium-aged cheeses
