Red
Giuli
By Cascina Ballarin, Barolo, Piemonte, Italy
Barbera from 50 year old vines, aged 12 months in Slavonian oak barriques. The name comes from Giulio, brother of the great-grandfather Pietro, who planted the vineyard.
Tasting notes
Very intense ruby red. Rich aroma of red fruits, with spice and cinnamon from the wood. Great persistence and harmony. Suitable for good ageing in bottle.
