Cantine Balbiano Surpreisa

Surpreisa is made from a selection of slightly riper Freisa grapes, giving a lean yet full-bodied still red with typical firm tannin.

Tasting notes

Aroma of ripe red fruit, a round body despite ageing only in steel, fine tannins and a pleasantly dry flavour on the palate.

Pairs well with

Cold cuts and cheeses, even slightly aged ones, pasta, stuffed pasta, meat sauce and meat main courses.
