Red
Rangone
By Ca' Viola, Dogliani, Piemonte, Italy
The estate's Langhe Nebbiolo, renamed Rangone from the 2021 vintage after the counts of Rangone of Montelupo Albese, with a label artwork by Gianni Gallo.
Tasting notes
Ruby with garnet shades on the rim. Very clear nose of notable breadth and complexity, with undergrowth and wet earth. More elegant than powerful, "Burgundian" in mood, lively yet austere, with silky tannins. Long, satisfying finish with a good return of fruit.
