- Grapes from the oldest vines of Romirasco, Cicala and Colonnello, blended before fermentation starts in the proportions 70%, 15%, 15%.
- Vinification
- Red vinification with skin contact in stainless steel vats; the must stays on the skins for 30 days, during which alcoholic fermentation is completed. Fermentation temperatures vary, with peaks up to 32 C. After racking the wine ages and refines in oak casks (over thirty months in oak, then a further six years of refinement, per the Granbussia page). The wine stays in the cellar at least 10 years before release. Made only in the best years and in limited quantities. Red wines are neither clarified nor filtered (estate level).
