Single vineyard Gattinara DOCG cru made from 100% Nebbiolo grown in the Valferana vineyard, registered in the Additional Mentions (MGA) register of Gattinara DOCG. Elegant and savoury on the palate with distinct minerality and ferrous nuances from the iron rich volcanic soil.
Tasting notes
Garnet red colour with orange reflections. Bouquet of roses and violets with balsamic nuances. Elegant and full bodied in the mouth, with minerality and ferrous nuances.

- Fruit from the Valferana vineyard, about half a hectare, owned by the company and registered in the Additional Mentions (MGA) register of Gattinara DOCG. Guyot training method, manual harvest in 20kg boxes, yields of about 60 quintals per hectare.
- Vinification
- Vinification in stainless steel. Maceration on the skins for 30 days with delestage and manual punching down (follature). Malolactic fermentation completed naturally in stainless steel. Aged 12 months in tonneaux, then 24 months in large barrels of Slavonian oak.

- Great aging potential. Best kept lying down in a cool, dark place.
