Red
Piano delli Perdoni
By Mossio Fratelli, Langhe, Piemonte, Italy
Mossio's everyday Dolcetto d'Alba, from the Piano delli Perdoni cru, a plot named in a 1676 property deed.
Tasting notes
Ruby red with violet reflections. Aromas of sour cherry and cherry with hints of coffee cream. Rich and full-bodied on the palate, almost austere, with a fruity, balsamic finish.
Pairs well with
Starters, first courses, white and red meats roasted, braised or stewed, truffle dishes, oily fish stewed or roasted, and aged cheeses.
