Red
Roero
By Fratelli Rabino, Roero, Piemonte, Italy
A Roero DOCG red from the Del Genta and Ribalda vineyards, aged 22 months in large oak barrels. The producer describes it as a balance of technique and tradition.
Tasting notes
Ruby red colour with an intense scent of strawberry, violet and rose. With time it becomes austere, so much so that it can be compared with Nebbiolo wines for ageing.
Pairs well with
Important main courses, game and red meats.
