White
Kalipè
By F.lli Calorio, Roero, Piemonte, Italy
An Arneis from sandy, shell-rich soils in Montà, fermented in steel and aged on fine lees.
Tasting notes
Colour: straw yellow with greenish reflections. Nose: fresh and harmonious, with delicate notes of white peach and passion fruit and slightly vegetal retro-olfactory sensations. Palate: intense, fresh and aromatic, with a good acid-sweet balance, notes of ripe yellow melon and growing minerality, soft persistence with citrus nuances.
Pairs well with
Aperitifs, finger food, starters, first courses, fish, white meats and pizza
