Ciabot Mentin
By Domenico Clerico, Barolo, Piemonte, Italy
Single-vineyard Barolo from the Ciabot Mentin plot in the Ginestra cru, Monforte d'Alba, one of the vineyards the estate acquired in this cru in the years following its first Bussia purchase.
Tasting notes
Named after the 'Ciabot', a house among the vines used as a shelter for tools, and 'Mentin', the previous owner of the plot; the plot has kept the name of the earlier owner by tradition.
