Cinque Quinti Solitario

The estate's Grignolino from the Olivola hills, about 5,000 bottles. Named Solista on the older page and tasting list, Solitario on the current sheet and wine list. 13% vol.

Tasting notes

Clear, transparent ruby red. Delicately spiced, with citrus notes and small red fruit: freshly picked cherry and strawberry. Fresh and fragrant, with a pleasant, unmistakable tannin.

Pairs well with

In colder seasons with bagna cauda or delicate flavours such as veal escalopes; on hot days served cool with raw fish.
