Red
Carisa
By Cinque Quinti, Monferrato, Piemonte, Italy
The estate's first label, a 100% Barbera from the Carisa vineyard, one of the first planted by the family's grandfather Mario. Aged in steel for about 12 months, 14.5% vol.
Tasting notes
Aromas of red and black fruit such as cherry and blackberry. On the palate the typical acidity of Barbera and a light tannin that softens over time. Deep purple red.
Pairs well with
Perfect for an Easter barbecue with friends, where its acidity balances the richness of lamb.
