Vigna di Lino
By Cascina Val del Prete, Roero, Piemonte, Italy
Roero DOCG Nebbiolo from a south and southeast facing sandy clay vineyard in Priocca, aged 16 months in already used barrels. About 3,000 bottles a year.
Tasting notes
The Roero V. di Lino Nebbiolo displays a luminous ruby-garnet color, with an expressive nose of wild cherry, violet, and a touch of white pepper. On the palate, it is elegant and fresh, with supple tannins, vibrant acidity, and a long, savory finish.
Pairs well with
First courses with intense flavours, red meat second courses
