Red
Furmjia
By Cascina Sciorio, Monferrato, Piemonte, Italy
A Rhone-inspired 100% Syrah from Costigliole, peppery and dense after two years in barrique.
Tasting notes
Deep, almost purple-tinged ruby; dense, with black pepper, spice and a balsamic lift.
Pairs well with
Meat and furred game; drunk younger it also suits richly sauced fish dishes.
