Red
Albugnano Berenices
By All'Insù Vini, Asti, Piemonte, Italy
Tasting notes
Intense garnet red. Delicate floral notes of roses, then damp undergrowth, cloves and conifers. On the palate, rose and redcurrant acidity. With oxygenation, Nebbiolo's structure intensifies — rose and cypress needles expand. Sidereal tannins, not astringent, with a final saline note. Long aftertaste of coniferous wood and undergrowth.
Pairs well with
Tajarin al ragù, vitello tonnato, carne cruda, roasted game, aged Toma cheeses
