A blend of wines from the best-known crus of the Barolo township, with fruit and elegance alongside power and body.

Tasting notes

Deep ruby red colour, with an intense nose of red fruit and tertiary notes of oak and vanilla. Round and compact, with visible tannins and splendid fruit. Complex and complete, full-bodied, with intense fruit and rounded tannins.

Planted 1970 to 1980, 250 to 260 m, about 4,500 vines per hectare, Guyot
Vinification
Crushing and destemming, 10 days of maceration on the skins in traditional vats with rotating paddles, rack and return. Aged about 18 months in 300 to 500 litre barrels, then rested in steel before bottling and horizontal bottle ageing.

Storage
Peaks after 2 to 3 years of horizontal bottle ageing in a cool, dark place.
