Don Fiorino Riserva
By Produttori del Barbaresco, Barbaresco, Piemonte, Italy
Riserva named for the parish priest who gathered 19 growers in 1958 and founded the cooperative. It blends grapes from the best historical vineyards, as was done before single-vineyard bottlings became common.
Tasting notes
2016 vintage: full body, intense ripe red fruit on the palate, persistent and properly tannic finish. Longevity 25 to 30 years from the vintage.
