Barolo from the Brunate cru in La Morra, planted in 1942 on limestone soil facing south; a more austere, complex and mineral Barolo that needs time.

Tasting notes

Ruby red tending to garnet. Intense, complex, delicate and very elegant nose with small red berries, balsamic notes of sage and mint, then floral and flint notes; silky, well integrated tannins and a lovely balance.

Pairs well with

Stewed beef, Piedmontese medium seasoned cheese, first courses, meat courses
