Red
Barolo
By Mario Marengo, Barolo, Piemonte, Italy
A Barolo from four vineyards in La Morra, aged 24 months in French oak barriques; the estate calls it a classic representative of the La Morra terroir.
Tasting notes
Ruby red. Red fruit and spices on the nose; silky, well integrated tannins and an important structure on the palate.
Pairs well with
Red meat, cheese, game
