Serragrilli
By Marchesi di Barolo, Barolo, Piemonte, Italy
Serragrilli, a south-west-facing vineyard in Neive on Tortonian sandy marl soils, gives Marchesi di Barolo its main Barbaresco bottling, apart from the smaller Cascina Bruciata Riserva.
Tasting notes
Softer and more immediately perfumed than the estate's Barolos, with rose petal, red berry and herbal aromatics carried by vibrant acidity.
