Aromatised wine from aged Barolo, made to the recipe of Giuseppe Cappellano, a Serralunga d'Alba pharmacist with a shop in Turin, who perfected it in the late 1800s. Meant as a meditation wine.

- Extract of china calissaia mixed with other aromatic herbs, sugar and alcohol is added to already aged Barolo. The list of spices is secret. Spices are ground with the same tools Giuseppe Cappellano used.
