Freisa from the Bricchi estate, aged 24 months in steel before bottling.

Tasting notes

Wonderfully deep ruby red. Small berries with raspberry standing out, fine spiciness and excellent intensity. Full mouthfeel, enveloping body, pronounced tannin with pleasant freshness and a lingering aftertaste. Longevity: over 15 years.

Meat ravioli; risotto with castelmagno cheese, grilled meat, bagna caoda, matured cheese, goat cheese, lamb chops

Vinification
Maceration on the skins for 12 days in steel tanks with 2 manual pump-overs a day. After alcoholic fermentation the wine is racked to steel until malolactic fermentation is complete, then aged 24 months in steel before bottling.
