- **Production area:** La Serra estate, commune of Cassine, Alessandria province. Only the highest rows of the vineyard are used, in very limited production. South facing at an altitude of 380m a.s.l.

- **Harvest:** Late harvest, one to two months after leaf removal.
- **Vinification:** After complete removal of the leaves around the bunches, the grapes are left to dry naturally on the vine and are harvested late. After a further selection, the bunches are gently pressed and the clarified must ferments in stainless steel tanks. Aged in French barriques for at least thirty months, followed by further bottle ageing before release.

## Summary

A late harvest Moscato passito made in very limited quantities only in the best vintages, from the upper rows of the La Serra vineyard.

## Tasting notes

Colour: deep yellow with golden reflections. Bouquet: wide and intense, with marked notes of candied fruit, dried figs, citrus, dried apricots and a pleasant sensation of honey and biscuit. Taste: full, rich and complex, pleasant and persistent, with good balance between structure and acidity.

## Food pairings

Excellent with the finest aged and blue cheeses, pates and dried fruit, as well as rich desserts and dry pastries.
